Brewer Jacobsen turns 200
"Our 200th anniversary identity uses elements from Carlsberg’s main product, the beer bottle. In this case we used the signature tracks of the neck label as well as the beer foam to build a design that honours the legacy and spirit of J.C Jacobsen and the Carlsberg brand", says Lasse Bech Martinussen, Project Manager at e-Types.
Jacobsen's approach and philosophy still guides and inspires the world's fourth largest brewer, "Ideas ferment at Carlsberg — they bubble to the surface and inspire society, scientist, visitors and citizens, in the same way J.C. Jacobsen still inspires the company," says Carlsberg CEO, Jørgen Buhl Rasmussen.
e-Types is currently working with Carlsberg in a number of projects to be executed in the fall.

New partner in Bangalore
India is one of the most exciting market's in the world today. The economy is growing at 8% p.a., the consumers of India are increasingly brand conscious, businesses are expanding beyond the boundaries of South-East Asia as never seen before and international companies are either securing their foothold in India or finding their way in.
The fruitful partnership between e-Types and Creative Network has so far materialized in a series of projects that will be executed this fall.
"For a brand agency as e-Types India offers some opportunities that I don't think you will find anywhere else in the world", says senior consultant and India expert, Thomas Sehested, author of "India - the World's next Superpower" (Indien - verdens næste supermagt, L&R Business) in 2010. "But India is at the same time one of the most challenging markets for newcomers - it's a highly diverse country and it's well known for it's red tape. In short: if you want to enter India, find yourself a local partner."
And that's where Creative Network comes in – a creative services firm of almost 20 years. "We were looking for an international brand and design partner that could bring expertise on global scale into the Indian branding scene. We are very well known for our services within advertising, design management and our local knowledge about the Indian market, but when it comes to services in the area of brand strategy we felt that an international cooperation was the answer - and at e-Types we found what we were looking at", says Madhav Maheshwaran of Creative Network. "e-Types brings in a wealth of international brand thinking, and their work with some of the biggest corporates in Europe and other parts of the world is a true reflection of their potential. This helps Creative Network knock on some of the biggest business's in India, which need this kind of expertise."

e-Types Director member of Jury at CLIO Awards 2011
The CLIO Awards is one of the world’s most esteemed awards competitions for advertising, design and communications. Each year, the CLIO Awards appoints an average of 115 top creatives from 65 countries to nine distinct CLIO Juries. Juries are comprised of individuals whose own work epitomizes the vanguard in their respective fields, ensuring that each juror has a profound understanding of the global market’s ever-evolving dynamics, industry innovations and creative work that represents the next wave.
CLIO’s judging process is known for its democratic and non-political approach to recognizing creative excellence. Submissions that survive the first round are re-evaluated in the second round to determine the Shortlist as well as the Gold, Silver and Bronze statue winners. Each jury also has the option of awarding CLIO’s highest honor, the Grand CLIO, to one truly exceptional piece of work in each medium from the Gold winners chosen.

Jess Andersen, Senior Designer, says, "We are very proud to perform on this level and it's only thanks to C themselves letting us in on every little detail of the concept. It requires a lot of confidence to let people from the outside in on your project and we are very grateful that we've had this opportunity."

New spectacular maritime museum next to Kronborg Castle
To understand Danish society you need to understand the historic and current societal impact of the shipping trade. Sailors, ships and more recently containers have shaped the coast of Denmark through centuries bringing the outside world to Scandinavia. Even today Denmark is globally leading the way in the shipping industry.
The story of maritime trade and much more will be told when Denmark's new maritime museum opens in Elsinore in 2013. The museum is housed underground surrounding Dock 1 of the former Elsinore Shipyard. The architecture will form a powerful frame for the maritime story and it will all be clad in a new name and visual identity developed by e-Types, who will also give advice on communications and strategy for the museum.
