Stylish Trash

The first Vipp was designed in 1939 by Holger Nielsen. Holger Nielsen was a craftsman with a keen sense of aesthetics and quality: "Good design never goes out of fashion," he used to say. Therefore e-Types were asked to tread lightly when redesigning the famous logo. Times had changed and as Vipp today is a large design company with a wide range of products the visual identity didn't meet their current needs.

e-Types was asked to update the logo to make it easier to work with, more sturdy and modern. Also Vipp wanted a family of custom made typefaces that could complete and support the visual identity. The typefaces were developed to fit perfectly to the logo, and in that way express the essence of the brand in every letter typed from packaging to marketing material and on the products themselves.

Today Vipp is sold all over the world - the logo has changed but the bin is still the same.
