In recent years, Danish fashion has witnessed an explosive development with many new emerging talents and a great deal of attention from abroad. The Copenhagen Fashion Week runs twice a year and e-Types was assigned to create the design for the fashion week AW08 in cooperation with the Danish Fashion Institute.

Through consistent use of a characteristic font which formed the backbone of the design, a visual identity was created that could both capture the discrete elegance of fashion and simultaneously manage to stand out in public spaces in Copenhagen.

Dansk Daily - the daily newspaper given out during Copenhagen Fashion Week - was also part of the assignment. The design of Dansk Daily needed to capture the essence of both the Magazine Dansk edited by Style Counsel and the new identity for Copenhagen Fashion Week created by e-Types.

In extension, e-Types has also contributed to the Danish Fashion Ethical Charter's campaign to stop eating disorders.
