The Raveonettes' sound and image references an amazing universe. Surf rock, Rockabilly, bop - that really trashy 50s cool that is equally dark and kitsch at
the same time - it is like opening a treasure chest of inspiration. That's where the idea for the 3D effect and the cover as a whole came from.
The Raveonettes are among the most successful Danish bands with an international career. For the design of their album Lust Lust Lust, e-Types combined 3D graphics, expressive photos and strong
typography with 3D glasses given out during the release.
"We tried to design to the feelings that come with the music - a mix of old Weegee photos, Lynch's Blue Velvet and drive-in horror films - a kind of Rock'n'Roll noir combined with candy-floss!"
