Brand Communication
A company communicates in everything it does. Branding is about creating consistency in all those signals. A brand arises as an entity in between sender and receiver. You cannot control how you will be perceived or what stories people will tell about you. But you can do your homework and try to influence how you are perceived by communicating clearly, consistently and to the right target groups.
We help our clients define their communication strategy. Typical elements are: a clear understanding of the stakeholders and their needs and perceptions, a definition of the core messages and tone of voice in communicating to different target groups. This is then condensed into a message platform and roll-out is plotted into a communication plan.

We create a universe by integrating brand- and communication strategy with graphic design expertise and specialized expertise within photographic art direction. Naming
A name is a split-second communication of a whole brand. Therefore, it should contain the right references and associations.
The process of developing a name is intimately related to the overall positioning of the brand. And the name should be consistent with the design expression and other communication activities of the brand.
The naming process involves a number of considerations: positioning in relation to competitors, intuitiveness, ease of spelling, pronunciation and understanding. Does it look good when written? Is the web address taken? Do we infringe on the rights of others? Can the name be registered or protected otherwise?
Naming considerations often intertwine with brand architecture considerations: should the name fit within a portfolio of names or brands? How should it relate to the parent company or organization?
We have worked on a range of naming projects and use a structured process that has proven instrumental in achieving goals and successes - working in cooperation with the client and, when needed, leveraging the expertise of other gifted creatives and experts.
Photo Concepts
Our brain takes in much more information from a single picture than from reading pages upon pages of text. Therefore, working consciously with imagery is a central part of working with your identity and communication strategy.
The choice of photographer is one of the most central issues when defining an image style. Every photographer has a special style with specific strengths and interests. Therefore we prefer to work with a large network of different photographers to be able to create the right expression for each single project. The same goes for models, stylists etc.
Photo concepts often form part of a larger visual identity or campaign identity.
In these processes we work as the guardians of the brand vis-à-vis the photographer and others involved. We also act as the filter that can translate between the world of the client and the objectives of the branding work on the one hand and the world of imagery on the other. Last but not least we take care of all practicalities: getting the right production team together, finding the right model and location, taking care of the situation if the weather is not as planned etc.
