"Quartz = a mineral known for its clarity, precision and strength. It has the unique ability to generate energy when put under pressure". e-Types created a new name, brand platform and visual identity for Quartz+ Strategy Consultants in 2002 - and has been working with Quartz ever since.
New name, new visual identity, same values and same competent consulting. That was the message when the management consultancy Cultivator Consulting changed it name and visual identity and repositioned itself as Quartz+ Strategy Consultants.
The management of Quartz+ Strategy Consultants were getting lot of appraisal from their clients for the high senior involvement-approach combined with a strong take on organization and an empathetic approach combined with rigour. However, the consultancy wanted a more clearly outlined profile in a market dominated by international consulting agencies.
Succeeding Through Values
Since then, Quartz+ Strategy Consultants has grown to a from a medium-sized consultancy to one of the dominant players in the Danish market. And by way of its 5 core values: excellence, edge, empathy, energise and entrepeneurship continue to challenge the dominant international players.
"Over the past couple of years we have experienced a massive growth in our turnover and for a considerable period of time, we have considered altering our profile. Based on the positive experiences of the past years and based on the advice of our clients, we now walk the wholw walk and change our name. We do so with the basic insight in mind, that we need a profile that even more clearly delineates our independence and business platform", said CEO of Quartz+ Strategy Consultants, Hans Henrik Beck at the launch of the new visual identity.
Strategy + Design
e-Types worked with Quartz to define the consultancy's brand platform based on analysis of the company's strengths among clients and industry players. The new visual identity and name was then developed in a clear case of cooperation between e-Types brand strategy and design competences.
Since the launch of the new identity, e-Types has been working continuously with Quartz+ Strategy Consultants on the continued implementation of the positioning and visual identity.
Brothers in Arms
e-Types has done the original Quartz website as well as its successor and in cooperation with Red Associates, e-Types has developed a platform for employer branding that forms the basis of Qartz' continuous advertising for new talent. Together with photographer Mikkel Bache, e-Types has defined a photo concept based on purity and rigour that constitutes the read thread in the consultancy's communication. And e-Types has done various publications such as profile brochure for Quartz. Finally, e-Types has designed a concept for publications that allows Quartz to work template based leading to maximum speed combined with consistent design.
