CPH:PIX is the name of the new film festival in Copenhagen featuring more than 170 fantastic films focusing on rising talent and new trends in cinema. e-Types developed the visual identity and brand strategy.

Above all, its about telling great stories from all over the world. Allowing new voices to be heard, new horizons to be experienced and new tales to be spun, the festival gives Danes a chance to experience some of the cinematic highlights not in Danish cinema distribution.

The films selected for CPH:PIX are all chosen as representatives of the new talent and trends currently claiming their stake in modern cinema. Crossing all genres the festival moves from niche to mainstream, screening both anticipated premiers and obscure indies to Copenhagen audiences.

The films selected to compete in the festival's main competition programme for first-time feature film directors, titled the NEW TALENT GRAND PIX (pun intended), will receive special focus culminating in the award ceremony itself where the winner will walk off the stage with no less than 50,000 Euros.

In close collaboration with CPH:PIX, e-Types developed the brand strategy, the overall visual identity and the design concept for both the festival newspaper and the NEW TALENT GRAND PIX award given to the best new film talent on April 25th 2009.

The festival launched in Copenhagen the 16th to the 26th of April 2009 and was a smashing success breaking all previous records in terms of audience and visibility in the streets of Copenhagen.
