Making the Past Present
The most valuable asset we bring to the future is the past. The Danish Consultancy House of Heritage, Bygningsarv A/S, work to revitalise, rethink, and reinvent the way we use and think of the
buildings of yesteryear.
Pursuing this philosophy BygningsArv A/S develops business plans for 17th century manors, invigorates turn of the century industrial habour areas and much more - adding value and vision to
buildings and cityscapes thought worthless or dated. e-Types assisted in developing the visual identity and counseled BygningsArv A/S on its strategic use. Finally e-Types helped develop the new
name, marking the transition to the new identity.
The integrated use of photos and case illustrations is an essential part of the identity - thus emphasising the visual aspect of the consultancy. It's a truism that words often come easy for academics - and another that images are often more compelling that text. Reinvigorating a tradition that is renowned for its dense use of academics, BygningsArv A/S' approach now combines intellectual authority with business acumen and aesthetic understanding. An approach that sets BygningsArv A/S firmly in another league than its competitors.
