Berlingske knows better than anyone that staying relevant over centuries means constant reforms. Staying true to classic journalistic ideals and at the same time giving the target audience
something new is what have gained Berlingske its reputation as one of the strongest newspaper brands in Scandinavia.
The new Berlingske design takes the best from tradition and combines it with a contemporary feel. The typography is created with strong reference to classic newspaper typefaces and even
includes a typewriter font. The new visual identity across all media platforms marks a significant new position and lays the groundwork for the editorial staff to produce and communicate news
in all its shapes and colours.
In May 2012 e-Types was awarded Gold at the Danish Creative Circle Awards in the Editorial Design category. At the same event Berlingske Media was awarded Client of the Year - recognised for
its courage in the ambitious design overhaul by e-Types.
