The JazzHouse renovated
Denmark's primary venue for contemporary jazz has re-opened its doors after a major renovation and is ready to present a brand new concert hall and new visual identity created by e-Types.
Jazzhouse is famed for attracting some of the biggest international stars and has an impressive roster of Jazz Greats play its stage through the years. A fact that not only speaks volumes about the
eclectic role that Jazzhouse has on the international circuit, but also provides Danish jazz talents with a recognized platform for their merits.
The central premise when creating the identity was reinforcing and supporting the venue's credibility as the best Copenhagen Jazz institution run by the legendary Lennart Ginman. The inspiration for the graphic and typographical universe stems from jazz covers from the 50's and 60's, while the logo itself lends itself to the lit billboards of Las Vegas style nightclubs. e-Types created the new visual identity as well as the new website and the opening campaign.
