Friday, October 16th 2009 Danish artist Cathrine Raben Davidsen opens her solo show at Martin Asbaek Gallery in the center of Copenhagen. Adored by the fashion elite, awarded a multitude of times and with numerous pieces in private collections and museums, the suspense around the unveiling of her latest works have left collectors and gallerists with bated breath.
The title of the show “Remote Control” comes from American artist Barbara Kruger’s novel on the themes of control, power and feminism. Themes continued in the show through further inspiration from analysis of schizophrenia and works by Virginia Woolf.
Her work will be on display until November 14th 2009. e-Types designed the identity for the poster, the flyer and the invitation for the show.
